Yes yes.. everything is bigger in TEXAS. It is an old saying, but the proof can be fould at Lake Tawakoni State Park, where there’s a monstrous network of sheet-like webs covering several hectares has been spun over trees.
I’m facinated by spiders, even if the big ones scare the crap outa me, but this must be a thing to see! One of the observers noted that the sound of 1000’s of skeeters all caught at one time is really eerie. Music to my ears, them buggers wat me up!
