What ever happened to Love Your Neighbor As Yourself? I shouldn’t be shocked, but I am. The lack of respect for other people’s feelings, is now the norm and continues to make our American Society look like a bunch of knuckleheads, without a heart.
Christian activists disrupt Hindu prayer in US Senate
WASHINGTON: Christian activists briefly disrupted a Hindu invocation in the U.S Senate on Thursday, marring a historic first for the chamber and showing that fundamentalism is present and shouting in the U.S too.
Invited by the Senate to offer Hindu prayers in place of the usual Christian invocation, Rajan Zed, a Hindu priest from Reno, Nevada, had just stepped up to the podium for the landmark occasion when three protesters, said to belong to the Christian Right anti-abortion group Operation Save America, interrupted him by loudly asking for God’s forgiveness for allowing the ‘’false prayer'’ of a Hindu in the Senate chamber.

BTW, I have personally NEVER met a christian that is anywhere near as spiritually aware and close to God and the Truth as the Hindu people that I have met and spoken with throughout my life. I am personally Buddhist (which, for all of the ignorant people out there, means that I follow his teachings and peaceful way of life. FYI, Buddhists do not worship Buddha, unlike the way christians worship Jesus. Jesus came here to teach people how to live, NOT to be put on a pedestal and worshiped like a golden cow!) and I have have no need to push my beliefs on anyone, nor do I condemn people for not believing the same thing that I do. I couldn’t care less what other people believe because everyone is at their own level of understanding and all will realize the Truth when they are ready. Unfortunately, groups like these activists try to perpetuate ignorance and blasphemy in the name of their god which causes people who don’t know better to stagnate spiritually, and that is just pathetic. If you want to remain bottom feeding, vile scum then be my guest. But don’t drag others with you that might be trying to climb out of the cesspool that christianity has become!

If anyone can show me where in the Bible it teaches this type of ignorance and intolerance, I would love to know!

Also, If anyone can point out what part of this prayer is a “wicked abomination” I would love to hear it! I think if that group of ignoramuses would have sat back and LISTENED, they wouldn’t have had a bad thing to say about it. I guess some people are just so blind
and stupid that they are simply beyond help.
