This news report from FRAMINGHAM, Mass., reminded me of a story about a book, and what can happen- when you don’t leave well enough alone. There was a book, Heather Has Two Mommies, in the young adult section of a small city library.
Just one, until the day a Mommy w/ a Husband saw what her girl child was reading, and promptly had a hissy-fit. Community meetings with much shouting to remove this immoral book from the shelves, and only allow adults access, dragged on for weeks.
Of course dear readers, you know what the end result of such ignorance could be. Yup, all that noise, made it such a wildly popular request, the library had to order more copies.
Just like that little book backfired - so did the plans of these silly girls.
I’d bet the rent, that Every Woman who has ever carried some extra weight, would like to send a virtual Bitch Slap to these silly girls.
