I wonder how many Wives, Ole Ladies, Ball In Chains, or what ever you call the Lil Woman – have Hubby’s w/ Hobbies? I do, and it’s a Good Thing!

My own beloved Hubby, Roy has wide ranging list of hobbies. I’ve been fortunate that aren’t sport-based and I’m always invited into whatever world his interests take him. While we were still dating long-distance I got my first look into the wild World Of Slot Cars!

The new girlfriend is always a precarious position; you have to be a good sport and try your best to enjoy ALL the new experiences your lover offers. I’m Proud to say, my first slot car Cadzilla was built, including the electric motor, by yours truly. It was really a blast, my very first hobby experience, even though after winning only one heat, She went airborne, and was no more. Throughout our life together, Roy has given me a peek into the realms of car modeling, radio-controlled airplanes and robotics. I also have learned- since the day a miniature flatiron found a place in our Home, with each new hobby, comes a whole new set of tools and accoutrements. I no longer cringe when I see a Hobby Lobby shopping bag, cause I know there’s gona be a happy Hubby puttering around the house.
