I have a GREAT affection for Drag Queens of every ilk! Back in the 70’s, when your local gay bars brought in shows, I was privlaged to assist in the dressing rooms (the back store room and basement) and it was a BLAST!
So it is with great sadness to bring you the news of the passing of an Icon of The Art Of Drag, Allan Maloney.

At the funeral home, Maloney, once famous for planning his own birthday parties down to the last balloon, wore a simple white shirt and black dress pants – looking every inch the solemn family patriarch.
Then Kimberly began spreading pink and yellow feathers around his head.
“Thank goodness the girls didn’t object to me scattering the feathers with him,” she said, leaning over her old friend’s coffin. “If I had known, I would have filled the room.”
