U.S. General says

by @ 10:10 am on March 16, 2007.

… some of The MOST ignorant statements, ever recorded – since GWB, Jr. stood on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln and proclaimed Mission Accomplished.

From Earth Times: WASHINGTON: Gen Peter Pace, the top-ranking U.S. military officer, whose controversial remarks that homosexuality amounted to an immoral act led to angry reactions from various sections of the society, attempted to pacify the critics saying the remarks were his personal opinion.

How DARE he?  A Soldier, a GENERAL of the US Military speak his personal opinions – at a Press Conference? I won’t even bother to mention the sheer idiocy of his personal opinions, but he’s the Property Of the US of A and should keep his flappin’ lips, zipped!  So what does this decorated officer have to say the NEXT Day?

I should have focused more on my support of the policy and less on my personal moral views.”

No Sir! We don’t want ANY of your moral views. Keep your petty, narrow and ignorant emotions to yourself.  I don’t even care what you talk about with The Boys around the club, but don’t you DARE use your position and Power and vent on World Wide TV.

Anyone else think our Generals could use a few weeks back in Basic Training, to remind them of just who they are - the Property and living representatives of the United States of America?

I have to agree on the return to Basic Training! Power can corrupt if not embraced correctly, and it often does show up in public figures…
