Two Sides To Every Story

I like President Jimmy Carter. Even though we don’t always see eye-to-eye on everything, at his core he is the kind of man whose word I Trust. Maybe it is his quiet manner of giving, the devotion he shows to his Wife, or the sober and thoughtful way he approaches diplomacy.

So when Mister Carter’s most recent book began a firestorm of controversy this past week it sent me searching around for some voice defending our former Leader’s reasoning.
 Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid

Not being very educated about the ever-changing Middle East, I can’t express an opinion, other that to say that this piece written by Shulamit Aloni and published on The Arab American News website, got me to thinking if both sides of the story are presented to the public. It also bolstered my faith in a man, whose opinions I respect and makes me proud I voted for him, when I was a young and searching for Heroes.
